Prepare a project plan of no more than five pages, including a budget. Describe who you are, what you want to organise, when it will take place and what you hope to achieve. Explain how your plan contributes to the fund’s aims and how many people you expect to reach. Include a balanced budget with the amount you are requesting. Also describe any contributions from visitors. You may use your own budget format or complete the Excel file below.

Read the funding rules and assessment form before applying. They explain eligibility, funding limits, how applications are assessed and what is expected of you when running and reporting on the project. The committee completes the assessment form, so you don’t need to fill it in or send it in.

The assessment committee checks your plan against the criteria. It aims to decide within six weeks of receiving your application and will notify you by email. A receipt confirmation does not mean your application has been approved. Are you mainly looking for knowledge or experience rather than funding? Describe the support you need. The committee will consider whether it can help or refer you elsewhere.
